The following contains all of the final information needed for the upcoming Solo & Ensemble Contest on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Lake Zurich MS North. Parents and performers, please read through all of the information together so you both know what to expect on the day of contest.

Overview

Every year, 7th & 8th grade students participate in Solo & Ensemble Contest. 6th Grade students are encouraged to participate as well. Students may perform a solo or as part of a small ensemble, typically consisting of 2 to 5 players. Students perform in front of a judge and receive scores based on various categories. Medals may be awarded based on score.
